J & H Sub-surface Cicada
A different take on periodical cicadas, this wet fly has done a number on cicada-eating carp for me. A twitch here or there, just enough to keep it up in the water column is all it takes. This fly seems to shine when the fish have had some pressure from tons of topwater bugs. Most people are pulling for a good topwater bite with cicadas, but if the bite slows, this fly will produce.
